On the official site for the special exhibition of the manga written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima, Kanojo, Okarishimasu, entitled “Kanojo, Okarishimasu-ten”, the start of the sale of tickets for the Osaka edition was announced, which will take place between December 24, 2020 and January 4, 2021. Some photographs of the interior of the exhibition held in Tokyo were also added to this announcement.
The exhibition focuses on both the manga and the anime adaptation, with the manga's manuscripts available for reading and with special videos detailing the production process available for viewing. In Tokyo, the event took place between October 10 and 26, while in Osaka it will take place between December 24, 2020 and January 4, 2021.
Visitors will be able to purchase a color printed brochure that includes an interview with author Reiji Miyajima, as well as a four-track CD (one for each of the girls, Chizuru, Ruka, Sumi, and Mami), to play along the way. within the premises, creating a date-night atmosphere.
For his part, Miyajima began publishing the manga in Kodansha publisher's Weekly Shonen Magazine in July 2017. The publisher published its 15th compiled volume on June 17. The play inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation released in July 2020. Production for a second season is confirmed.
