After two years, Sword Art Online: Progressive will release its volume 7 in March
On the official website of the Kadokawa publishing house Dengeki Bunko, it has been listed that the seventh volume of spin-off light novels written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by Abec, Sword Art Online: Progressive, will be released next March. after a two-year hiatus.
Kawahara and Abec began publishing the light novels in October 2012 through Kadokawa Publishing's Dengeki Bunko imprint. The publisher published the sixth volume in May 2018. Being a reboot of the "Arc of Aincrad" departing a few days before completing "Floor 1", it is officially considered a spin-off.
The light novels are inspiring a film adaptation called Sword Art Online: Progressive - Hoshi Naki Yoru no Aria (Sword Art Online: Progressive Movie - Aria in the Starless Night) and scheduled for release this year. Production is handled by A-1 Pictures Studios under the direction of Ayako Kawano.
