Tomoyo Kurosawa, the voice of Kumiko Omae, tested positive for COVID-19

Talent agency Mausu Promotion announced that voice actress Tomoyo Kurosawa has tested positive for the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) PCR test.

Additionally, Mausu Promotion revealed that several fellow Kurosawa actors from a play that was in rehearsal stages have also tested positive. Kurosawa reported that he has been having cycles of fever, but is already taking "appropriate action" following the advice of health experts.

Tomoyo Kurosawa made her voice acting debut in 2010 during THE SPACE SHOW event. The actress is recognized for her versatility in acting and her natural cadence. She is best known for her roles as Kumiko Omae on Hibike! Euphonium; Phosphophyllite in Houseki no Kuni, Itsuki Inubozaki in Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha from Aru; Nao Kaizaki in Hisone to Maso-tan and Hitoha Hongou in Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo.

This season, Kurosawa is playing Kurenai on Rail Romanesque; Saya on Majo no Tabitabi and Ippanjin on Akudama Drive. Additionally, she is scheduled to join the second season of Yuru Camp, playing Ayano Toki.
