The AnimeJapan event has opened the survey "Work that you would like to see encouraged" through this link, where the opportunities to participate will remain active until November 30 in Japan. In the most recent issue, the manga written and illustrated by Makoto Morishita, Im: The Great Priest Imhotep, and the manga written and illustrated by Taiga Miyakawa, Tasuu Ketsu, dominated the survey, which collected more than 190,000 entries.
On the other hand, the AnimeJapan 2021 event will be held between March 27 and 30, 2021 in Japan, in a combination of face-to-face and online event, under the slogan of "All about anime is here." It is worth mentioning that the AnimeJapan 2020 event, which was scheduled to take place in March this year, was canceled due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on planning. The convention was to be held between March 21 and 24 of this year.
The public days of the event will be held on March 27 and 28, 2021 at the Tokyo Big Sight, specifically in the west and south wings of the complex. During these public days there will be events for both in-person attendees and online attendees. The face-to-face part will feature exhibitions, sale of limited edition merchandise and 40 live performances between the two days. On the other hand, the virtual part will include the transmission of these live presentations, virtual exhibitions and the survey "Work that you would like to see animated".
Additionally, the staff confirmed that they will take preventive measures to avoid the spread of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) during the event. On the other hand, the business days will be held online only on March 29 and 30, 2021. As in other editions, during these days buyers and licensors will be able to speak with the representatives of each of the animation productions about business. Trading days are only available online as seminars and presentations.
