B-Project anime is getting a third season

During the event “B-PROJECT Thrive Live 2020 -Music Drugger-” the production of a second season of the anime B-Project was announced. The event also announced that the franchise is inspiring its first video game to be titled "B-PROJECT Ryuusei * Fantasia" and to be released on the Nintendo Switch console. The video game will encapsulate the five-year history of the franchise with new stories, songs, and a comprehensive voice acting work.

The event will also have a launch in Blu-ray / DVD formats on May 26, 2021. On the other hand, the “B-PROJECT RealMotion Live 2020” concerts will be held through live broadcasts on November 22 and 23 at Japan from the Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture.

The B-Project project is produced by MAGES and includes male idols with character designs by Makai Ouji: Devils and Realist creator Utako Yukihiro. The first season premiered in July 2016, followed by the second one released in January 2019.
