Date A Bullet Reveals Your Blu-ray / DVD Benefit Artwork
On the official site for the two-part animated project based on the spin-off novels written by Yuichiro Higashide under the supervision of Koushi Tachibana and illustrated by NOCO, Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet, the illustrations that will be delivered as benefit of purchasing / reserving the Blu-ray / DVD version of the project.
The release is scheduled in Japan on March 24 and will include both films from the animated project. A special edition of the Blu-ray will include a 1/7 scale figure based on the character Kurumi Tokisaki and will be priced at 27,500 yen (approximately $ 264), while the standard edition of the Blu-ray will be priced at 7,700 yen ( approximately $ 74) and the standard edition DVD will be priced at 6,600 yen (approximately $ 64).
The project allowed two films, the first titled Date A Bullet: Dead or Bullet opened in Japanese theaters on August 14, while the second titled Date A Bullet: Nightmare or Queen premiered on November 13. On the other hand, the light novels are published through Fujimi Shobo publishing house's Fantasia Bunko imprint and are scheduled to end with their eighth volume soon.
- Jun Nakagawa was in charge of directing the animated project at Geek Toys studios.
- Yuichiro Higashide served as writer and script supervisor, and the original work is credited.
- Naoto Nakamura was in charge of the character design and adaptation to animation, based on the original NOCO designs.
- Go Sakabe was in charge of composing the instrumental song "Infermata" which was the opening theme for both films.
Date A Bullet Synopsis
