Konami Digital Entertainment company announced today that a video game based on the manga written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima, Edens Zero, is currently in development. More information will be revealed on September 26 during the live broadcast of the Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online event.
The Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online event will be broadcast live on September 26 on YouTube at 8:00 p.m. (Japan Standard Time). The event will feature the participation of Hiro Mashima himself and will reveal details of both the video game and the anime adaptation.
Mashima has been publishing the manga in Kodansha publisher's Weekly Shonen Magazine since June 2018. The publisher published the tenth compiled volume on June 17. It is worth mentioning that in mid-June, the author confirmed that this manga will inspire an anime adaptation, however, no production details or release date have been revealed.
Mashima is perhaps best recognized for being the author of the Fairy Tail manga, which he published in Kodansha Publishing's Weekly Shonen Magazine between August 2006 and July 2017, with a total of 63 compiled volumes published.
