Authors Masaya Hokazono and Nao Kurebayashi announced that Manga Pumpkin Night will go paused and will resume until approximately next July, with the goal that Kurebayashi has more time to draw the panels of the work.
The press release explained that while the manga publishes a new chapter every two weeks, serialization "is stopped on thin ice" about its production. While the Hokazono story has advanced a lot, the pause will allow Kurebayashi to advance with the drawn until it was on par with written history.
On the other hand, Hokazono and Kurebayashi began the publication of the manga through the Line Manga application in 2016. The Line Digital Frontier publishing published the fifth compilation volume in December 2020, and the authors also published a prequel Titled Naoko: Pumpkin Night Gaiden in June 2020.

She's friend, a boy named Kazuya Makino, is the next goal of this mysterious killer.
