On January 5, the first episode of the animated adaptation of the multimedia project Gekidol premiered in Japan. In its second episode aired on January 12, the series presented its animated closing sequence (it is common for series to present the opening at the close of the first episode), which has an erotic sequence starring Seria Morino.
But even in 2021 the tradition of censorship in the West has not been eradicated, and this was demonstrated by the Funimation platform. In the United States, a region where the series is broadcasting in parallel with Japan, the platform replaced this sequence with a black background with the credits and some frames of the series. Unfortunately the sequence is not available on any video platform (yet), but there are some stills available that show the change.
It should be noted that the sequence modified and presented by Funimation has the same theme music. On the other hand, the series has been broadcast since last January 5 in Japan and is confirmed with a total of twelve episodes. An OVA titled Alice in Deadly School will be included in the Blu-ray / DVD BOX compilation that will be released on March 3.
