Through the GANMO portal, the author Negi Haruba (Gotoubun no Hanayome) published a job offer for a mangaka assistant, also announcing that he will start a new manga very soon in the Weekly Shonen Magazine of Kodansha publishing house.
The job offer specifies that the work schedule would be from Wednesday to Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., giving a total of ten more hours the intermediate recess, for a salary of 15,000 yen (payment frequency was not specified), however, it is presumed to be daily.
For his part, Haruba published the manga Gotoubun no Hanayome on the pages of the Kodansha publishing house's Weekly Shonen Magazine between August 2017 and February 2020, with a total of 14 compiled volumes. The manga began to be reprinted in color no longer in serialized form but in volume format, with the first published on April 17.
The play inspired an anime adaptation released in January 2019 and a second season that is now scheduled to premiere in January 2021. In addition, rumors suggest that the second season will feature an original story, but they have not been confirmed.
