On the official site for the video game developed by MAGES and based on the Gotoubun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets) multimedia franchise, entitled Gotoubun no Hanayome: Natsu no Omoide mo Gotoubun, a preview of the CD Dramas package was published that will be included in the limited edition of this installment.
The package will include five discs, one inspired by each of the starring quintuplets of the franchise. In her recordings, conversations between the girl and the protagonist, Fuutarou Uesugi, are observed in situations where they are alone. On this occasion, the first advance that corresponds to Ichika Nakano, played by Kana Hanazawa, the first of the quintuplets according to the order of birth, has been revealed.
On the other hand, the launch is scheduled in Japan for next March 25 on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles. The CD Dramas included in the special edition each exceed 30 minutes in length, and as a whole accumulate a duration of 175 minutes (2 hours and 55 minutes).
For his part, Haruba published the manga in Kodansha publisher's Weekly Shonen Magazine between August 2017 and February 2020. The publisher collected the work in a total of fourteen volumes and the first season aired in Japan in January 2019 The manga is being published again in color in volume format since April 2020, and recently surpassed 14 million copies in circulation.

The original story of the video game begins during the summer break after a school field trip, with Uesugi trapped on a desert island and accompanied by the Nakano quintuplets for at least two weeks due to a sudden storm. The cast of the anime returns for this production, and the Nakano-ke no Itsutsugo unit composed of the five heroines will perform the title song titled "Minami Kaze (South Winds)" as well as the closing theme titled "Summer Days (Days of Summer)".
