Coinciding with the release of the CD with the musical themes, Pony Canyon published the complete music video of the song “Gotoubun no Katachi”, performed by the musical unit Nakanoke no Itsuzugo, made up of the voice actresses of the project (Kana Hanazawa, Ayana Taketatsu, Miku Itou, Ayane Sakura, Inori Minase). This song is the opening theme for the second season of Gotoubun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets).
This second season has been broadcast in Japan since last January 7 and is confirmed with a total of twelve episodes, while its global transmission was in the hands of the Crunchyroll platform. In fact, its premiere was scheduled for October 2020, but was postponed due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Kaori Fujita (Endro ~ !, Miira no Kaikata, Yuyushiki) is directing the anime at Bibury Animation Studios, replacing Satoshi Kuwabara and Tezuka Productions.
- Keiichirou Ouchi (Adachi to Shimamura, Hinamatsuri, Machikado Mazoku) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
- Masato Katsumata (Azur Lane, Grisaia: Phantom Trigger The Animation) is in charge of character design and animation direction.

Synopsis of Gotoubun no Hanayome
