Through its official Twitter account, the Kadokawa publishing house MF Bunko J, announced that the literary franchise based on the light novels written by Chuugaku Akamatsu and illustrated by Kobuichi, Hidan no Aria (Aria the Scarlet Ammo), has exceeded nine million cumulative copies in circulation.
Chuugaku Akamatsu and Kobuichi began publishing the light novels through Media Factory publisher in August 2008. The publisher published the thirty-second volume in December 2019, and will publish the thirty-fourth volume on December 25.
