On the official site for the manga written and illustrated by Yasuyuki Kosaka, Houkago Teibou Nisshi, the cover of the seventh compiled volume of the work was revealed, which will be released in Japan on December 18.
For her part, Kosaka began publishing the manga in Akita Shoten publisher's Young Champion Retsu magazine in February 2017. The publisher published the sixth compiled volume on March 19. The manga went into an indefinite hiatus since last July 21 due to the floods that occurred in the author's region.
The play inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Doga Kobo Studios, directed by Takaharu Ookuma and scripts written by Fumihiko Shimo, released in April 2020.
