The manga had already gone into hiatus in July this year due to heavy rains flooding the southern part of the Kyushu Region, where the author lives, however it resumed shortly after. For his part, Kosaka began publishing the manga in Akita Shoten publisher's Young Champion Retsu magazine in February 2017. The publisher published the sixth compiled volume on March 19 and will publish the seventh on December 18.

The play inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Doga Kobo Studios, directed by Takaharu Ookuma and scripts written by Fumihiko Shimo, released in April 2020.
