Through his Twitter account, author Rui Tsukiyo revealed that the literary franchise based on the Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi (Redo of Healer) light novels, has exceeded two million cumulative copies in circulation. “It was announced that the total number of copies in circulation for Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi has exceeded 2 million since mid-February. That means an increase of 300,000 copies since the anime premiered! I am very grateful because they trusted to create an animated series so that the novels were known to more people, I will continue working to continue making this an interesting work for you! ", Wrote the author.
Rui Tsukiyo began publishing the novels through the independent service Shousetsuka ni Narou in December 2016 and they are still in publication. Subsequently, the Kadokawa publishing house, through the Sneaker Bunko label, began its publication on paper in July 2017, with nine volumes released to date.
A twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by TNK studios, directed by Takuya Asaoka and scripts written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, has been on air since January 13 in Japan. The animated adaptation airs in two versions, one censored through television and one uncensored through the AT-X service.
