In the headline of the thirteenth compilation volume of the manga adaptation of the light novels written by Hisago Amazake-no and illustrated by Kurogin, Knight’s & Magic, it was revealed that the work has exceeded 2.8 million cumulative copies in circulation.

Akazake-no began publication of the novels through the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2010. Subsequently, the Shufunotomo publishing house began its paper publication through the Hero Bunko publishing house in January 2013. The publisher will publish the thirteenth compilation volume next November 25.

A manga adaptation by Takuji Katou has been published in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine since April 2016. In addition, the work also inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by 8-Bit Studios, under the title Directed by Yusuke Yamamoto and scripts written by Michiko Yokote, released in July 2017.
