Komi-san wa, Komyushou desu releases promo video

On the official Twitter account for the manga written and illustrated by Tomohito Oda, Komi-san wa, Komyushou desu (Komi Can’t Communicate), a special promotional video for the release of the twentieth compilation volume was posted. The video features the theme "Dramatic", performed by the rock band CIDER GIRL.

For his part, Oda began publishing the manga in May 2016 through Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. The publisher published the eighteenth compilation volume on September 18, followed by the nineteenth on November 18 in Japan.

A recent rumor that emerged through the Weibo social network in China ensured the production of an anime adaptation, and although the leak comes from a completely trusted account, it has not yet been officially confirmed.

Sinopsis de Komi-san wa, Komyushou desu

It is Shouko Komi's first day at the prestigious Itan Private Academy, and she has already achieved the status of the school's "Madonna". With long black hair and a tall, graceful appearance, she grabs the attention of anyone who comes across her. However, there is only one problem: despite her popularity, Shouko is terrible at communicating with others. Hitohito Tadano is your average high school boy. With his life motto to "read the situation and make sure to stay out of trouble," he quickly discovers that sitting next to Shouko has made him the enemy of everyone in his class. One day, knocked out by accident, Hitohito wakes up later to the sound of Shouko's "meow". He lies that he didn't hear anything, which caused Shouko to run away. But before he can escape, Hitohito surmises that Shouko can't talk to the others easily; in fact, he has never been able to make a single friend. Hitohito decides to help Shouko with his goal of making a hundred friends so he can overcome her communication disorder.
