KonoSuba! it is five years old since its first broadcast
January 13 in Japan marked the fifth anniversary of the premiere of the original broadcast of the animated adaptation of the light novels Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!).

On the other hand, the original novels were written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima, who published them through the Kadokawa publishing house Sneaker Bunko between October 2013 and May 2020, with a total of 17 volumes.
In addition to multiple manga adaptations and derivative works, the franchise inspired a ten-episode anime adaptation produced by Studio Deen and released in January 2016. A ten-episode second season featured the same production team and premiered in January 2016. 2017.
However, the movie Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo !: Kurenai Densetsu (KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world! - Legend of Crimson), released on August 30, 2019, switched to JCSTAFF studios and is the animated project latest in the franchise, setting aside its stakes in the crossover Isekai Quartet.
Synopsis of KonoSuba!
The original story centers on Kazuma, a hikkikomori who dies in a road accident and who meets the goddess Aqua in the afterlife. The goddess offers him the opportunity to reincarnate in a fantasy world and take anything with him. After receiving enough taunts, Kazuma chooses to take Aqua with him, so she is dragged to the new world as well. Kazuma will then begin his life as an adventurer, accompanied by Aqua.
