In his most recent chapter published in the magazine Weekly Shonen Champion, the Sleeve Written and illustrated by Osamu Nishi, Mairimashita! IRUMA-KUN (Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun), reported that it has exceeded 6,66 million cumulative circulation copies. The number is relevant for the context of the work, since in Japanese it is written as 666 万, the demonic number par excellence.
For his part, Nishi publishes the manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Champion of the Editorial Akita Shoten since March 2017. The Verminous First Volume Computer Volume in April 2021, followed by the twenty-second on June 8 in Japan.
The work inspired an adaptation to the anime of twenty-three episodes produced by Bandai Namco Pictures studies, under the direction of Makoto Moriwaki and scripts written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, released in October 2019. A second season of twenty-one episodes is currently in broadcast in Japan .

History follows Iruma Suzuki, a 14-year-old boy who is sold to a demon for his parents. The demon, known as Sullivan, leads Iruma to the demonic world and adopts it as the grandson of him. He lists Iruma to school for demons "Babyls" where he is the director. In the new school of him, Iruma quickly becomes a friend of the Alice Asmodeus and Clara Valac demons. However, Sullivan mentions him that he should never reveal that he is a human, since he does he will be devoured by anyone who finds out. Iruma then swears to keep the secret, although he can not avoid highlighting more and more during him.
