On the official site for the manga written and illustrated by Yumi Tamura, Mystery to Iu Nakare, the work was reported to have exceeded 3.3 million cumulative circulating copies in the seven compilation volumes published to date.
In fact, the serialization has been paused since the beginning of July this year, and is scheduled to resume in the eleventh edition of the magazine Monthly Flowers of the Shogakukan publishing house, on September 28. For its part, Tamura began publishing the manga in Monthly Flowers magazine in November 2016, before beginning a full serialization in the same magazine a year later, in November 2017.
The publisher published the sixth compiled volume on February 10, and the seventh on September 10 in Japan. Tamura is also the author of the 7SEEDS manga, which she published through Shogakukan publishing house in a total of 35 volumes. This manga has inspired two seasons of an anime adaptation to date.
