In this year's twelfth issue of Ichijinsha publisher's Monthly Comic Rex magazine, the final chapter of the manga written and illustrated by Eri Takenashi, Niji to Kuro, was published.

Niji to Kuro manga comes to an end

Takenashi began publishing the manga in Ichijinsha publisher's Monthly Comic Rex magazine in July 2018. The publisher published the second compiled volume on February 27. On the other hand, Takanashi has also authored such manga as Kannagi, Take Moon, Xenogears 4-koma Comic, and Eternal Sisters.

In addition, he participated as original creator in the Carnival Phantasm anime series, which adapted his manga Take Moon and which featured twelve episodes in OVA format released in August 2011.

Niji to Kuro Synopsis

College student Shirahoshi Kuroe feels like she lives in a black and white world, and yearns for more excitement in her life ... until a tiny, rainbow, and incredibly strange bird-like thing brings color to her life. They now live together but is this creature just a pet or more like a roommate? Written by Eri Takenashi, a prolific Japanese artist best known for the manga (and anime) Kannagi, Kanpachi, and Take-Moon / Carnival Phantasm, This unique manga series is sure to hit your heart with emotions.
