Oshi no Ko is close to completion

Popular Japanese leaker Ryokutya confirmed that, after this week's episode, the manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, "Oshi no Ko", will enter its last story arc. It should be noted that although this is the last stretch of the manga, you still have no idea how many chapters are left until the end (the final arc could be long or short, depending on the author).

Meanwhile, Akasaka and Yokoyari began publishing the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine in April 2020. An eleven-episode anime adaptation premiered during the Spring-2023 season (April-June), while a second season is scheduled to premiere in Summer-2024 (July-September).

Synopsis of Oshi no Ko

The 16-year-old girl, Ai Hoshino, is a talented and beautiful idol who is adored by her fans. She is the personification of purity, but not all that glitters is gold... Gorou Honda is a gynecologist from a rural area and a big fan of Ai. So when the pregnant idol shows up at his hospital, he's beyond taken aback. Gorou promises him a safe delivery, but little does he know that an encounter with a mysterious figure would result in his untimely death, or so he thought. Opening his eyes, Gorou finds himself on the lap of his beloved idol and discovers that he has been reborn as Aquamarine Hoshino, Ai's newborn son! With his world turned upside down, Gorou soon discovers that show business is full of thorns, and that talent doesn't always breed success. Will he be able to protect the smile of his beloved idol?
