Through his Twitter account, the author Shikke announced on October 16 that he has canceled the publication of the second chapter of the BL manga, Pink Heart Jam, due to the fact that different illegal sites have published the unauthorized English translation of his work. . The statement detailed that the manga written and illustrated by Shikke have been illegally uploaded "countless times" on "pirate sites" as well as on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.

The creator wrote: "This makes it very difficult for this manga to be serialized because it is painful and frustrating for me to watch them upload my work and do whatever they please." Shikke asked readers to "enjoy the manga within legal limits."

In fact, the author added that the second chapter of the Pink Heart Jam manga was already ready to be published, however, he concluded to cancel the serialization under the circumstances. The statement detailed that Shikke and Mellow Kiss magazine are now working on an official translation of the work.

Finally, Shikke began publishing the manga in Shueisha's digital magazine Mellow Kiss on August 25. The story centers on a high school student named Haiga, who wants to get close to his classmate Kanae after seeing him play the guitar.
