The Visual Arts company, through the Twitter account of its sales division, published a statement regarding the production of the OVA based on the visual novel spin-off of the Little Busters! Series, developed by Key and titled Kud Wafter. . The 20-minute OVA is scheduled to launch this month.

On the other hand, Takahiro Baba, president of Visual Arts and Key, published through his Twitter account: “In the preview, of course the content was good, but what motivated me the most was the fact that in the end The names of all the people who contributed financially to the project have appeared. Thank you very much to all!".
All of the above indicates that the production of this OVA has finally been concluded after it has been in production for three years since the 30 million yen fundraising campaign took place in July 2017.
Originally, the premiere was scheduled for the month of September 2019, but the postponement was announced to September 2020 in March 2019, derived from the replacement of Yoshiki Yamakawa as project director, being replaced by Kentarou Suzuki. On the other hand, the production is carried out by the J.C. Staff.
Finally, Kud Wafter was the eighth adult visual novel developed by Key, and it was originally released in Japan in 2010 for Windows operating systems. The novel was later ported to the PlayStation Portable console in May 2013 and to the PlayStation Vita in December 2013, without the adult content.
Synopsis of Kud Wafter
The story follows the lives of high school student Riki Naoe and her best friend Kudryavka Noumi, as they begin to see each other more and more with romantic interest. The gameplay of the installment follows a branching plot that offers predetermined scenarios with courses of interaction, and is totally focused on Kudryavka, who is usually known simply as "Kud" for short.
