Different press releases confirmed that the written sleeve and illustrated by Shiromanta, Senpai GA UZAI Kouhai No Hanashi (My Senpai is annoying), has exceeded 1.5 million cumulative circulation copies. The count also includes copies of the eighth compilation volume, which will be released on September 28 in Japan.
The press release also included a special promotional video for the adaptation to the anime of the work, which will debut on October 9 in Japan and that is produced by the Doga Kobo studies. The video is starring the character Futaba Igarashi, the female protagonist of history. The Funimation platform will be responsible for the distribution of this animation project in the West.
On the other hand, Shiromanant began the publication of the sleeve through his Twitter account and through the Pixiv service in March 2018. The publisher published the sixth compilation volume in November 2020, followed by seventh on April 28 in Japan by Part of the Ichijinsha publishing house.
Synopsis of Senpai GA UZAI KOUHAI NO HANASHI
The new work of Futaba Igarashi would be great if his senpai, Harumi Takeda, was not so incredibly annoying! Futuba hates her laughter, she hates how big she is from her and she really hates her to treat her as a girl. The fact that futuba is short and looks young does not make it a girl, and only because she spends so long with Takeda does not mean that she sees her as something more than an annoying Senpai ... Or yes?
