Commemorating the fifteenth anniversary of the debut of Fuji TV's “Noitamina” programming block, established in 2005, the “Noitamina Presents Cinematic Orchestra Concert” event was announced, a symphonic concert that will take place at the Tokyo International Forum Hall on May 29 and 30 this year.
This symphonic concert will present the soundtracks of the animation projects Toshokan Sensou (Library Wars), Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie in April) and Yakusoku no Neverland (The Promised Neverland), which were broadcast in the aforementioned programming block in the past, accompanied by additional animation sequences that will complement the presentation. Additionally, each composer who was in charge of the soundtrack for each project will be present at the presentations, and a limited edition merchandise store will be available.
Synopsis of Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso
At a very young age, Kousei Arima was taught strictly to play the piano and to follow the score meticulously by his mother, to the point where he mastered all the competitions in which he participated with ease. She earned the title of "Human Metronome" for her near-perfect performance. All musicians his age admired him. However, after his mother died suddenly, he became deaf due to shock and then disappeared, never to be seen on stage since.Two years later, Kousei lives a monotonous life with his childhood friends Tsubaki. Sawabe and Ryouta Watari supporting him. He continues to cling to music, although performance remains an impossibility for him. This is until his unexpected meeting with Kaori Miyazono, a violinist who plays freely without the dictates of a score. A story of friendship, love, music, and a single lie, Kousei's life begins to change and gain color as Kaori helps him get back to music.
