A leak confirmed that the manga written and illustrated by Koharu Ikami, Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid, has surpassed 900,000 cumulative circulating copies in the ten compilation volumes published to date.
Ikami has published the manga through the Shogakukan publishing house's Sunday Webry portal since October 2017. The publishing house published the ninth compilation volume on May 12, and the tenth on October 12.
Since this is the first work under his authorship, no antecedents can be established on the part of the author, however, the work has received excellent acceptance by readers, and even started from a project that the author originally began to publish via Twitter.
