Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken surprises with new trailer
On the official site for the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah, "Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime)," a new promotional video for the third season of the project, currently airing in Japan, was revealed. The video shows a fragment of what will be the new musical themes:
- The band Momoiro Clover Z will perform the new opening theme titled "Renacer Serenade," while singer MindaRyn will perform the new closing theme titled "Miracle Soup."
New voice cast members were also announced, including:
- Hisako Kanemoto as Elmesia.
- Moe Kahara as Momiji
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Masayuki
Fuse began publishing the light novels with illustrations by Mitz Vah in May 2014 through Micro Magazine, with a manga adaptation by Taiki Kawakami currently in publication through Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine. A total of two seasons have been produced to date, totaling forty-eight episodes, in addition to multiple OVAs and animated spin-offs.

- Toshizou Nemoto (Helck, Fuuto Tantei, Bakuten!, Super Cub) is in charge of writing and supervising the scripts for this third season.
- Ryouma Ebata (Dimension W, Mahou Sensou, Busou Shinki) is in charge of character design and animation direction for this third season.
- Hitoshi Fujima (Grisaia no Rakuen, B Gata H Kei, Senki Zesshou Symphogear, Visual Prison) is credited with composing the soundtrack.
Synopsis of Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken
Satoru Mikami, 37, is a typical corporate worker who is perfectly satisfied with his monotonous lifestyle in Tokyo, apart from never having gotten a girlfriend once in his life. In the middle of a chance encounter with his colleague, he falls victim to a random assailant in the street and is stabbed. However, as he succumbs to his wounds, a peculiar voice echoes in his mind and recites a lot of orders that the dying man cannot make sense of. When Satoru regains consciousness, he discovers that he has been reincarnated as a slime in an unknown realm. In doing so, he gains new abilities, most notably the power to devour anything and mimic its appearance and abilities.
Next, stumble upon the catastrophic level sealed monster "Storm Dragon" Veldora, which has been sealed for the past 300 years for having razed a city. Understanding his situation, Satoru befriends him and promises to help him destroy the seal. In return, Veldora grants him the name Rimuru Tempest to grant him divine protection. Now, freed from the mundanities of his past life, Rimuru embarks on a new journey with a clear goal in mind. As he gets used to his new physique, his sticky antics spread across the globe, gradually altering his fate.
