Synopsis of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You

After finishing high school, Rentarou Aijou manages to confess to the girl he loves. Unfortunately, he is rejected, which is his hundredth consecutive rejection. After suffering heartbreak after heartbreak, she goes to a shrine to find a partner and prays in the hope of finally getting a girlfriend in high school. Suddenly, the shrine god appears and promises Rentarou that he will meet a hundred soulmates at the institute. Although he is skeptical at first, Rentarou soon recognizes the veracity of the god's words when two of his soulmates—Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda—confess their love to him on the same day they meet him.

However, there is one detail that the god forgot to tell Rentarou: if any of his soulmates fail to establish a relationship with him, he will die. Now, caught up in a life-and-death affair, Rentarou decides to date all of his soulmates. With a heart so big that it can be divided among a hundred friends, Rentarou makes the most of her unexpected life at school, and the Rentarou family is growing bigger and bigger!
