On April 15, 2021 marks the tenth anniversary of the premiere of the animated adaptation of light novels Denpa Onna to Sixhun Otoko (Ground Control to Psychoelectric Girl). The official Twitter account of SHAFT studies shared a special illustration to commemorate the occasion.
The light novels written by Hitoma Iruma and illustrated by Buriki were published through the Editorial Seal Dengeki Bunko between January 2009 and April 2011, with the Kadokawa publisher launched a total of eight volumes. The work inspired a manga adaptation of Masato Yamanae and published between October 2010 and September 2013.
On the other hand, animated adaptation was produced by SHAFT studies, under the direction of Akiyuki Shinbo and Yukihiro Miyamoto, and scripts written by Yuniko Ayana, and issued during the spring season-2011 (April-June), counting with twelve Episodes
