Hiromu Arakawa, the author and illustrator of works such as Fullmetal Alchemist, Gin No Saji (Silver Spoon) and Arslan Senki (The Heroc Legend of Arslan), officially announced that the publication of a new manga entitled Yomi No Tsugai (The Hinge of the Underworld), which will begin in the next edition of Monthly Shonen Gangan, scheduled for next December 10 in Japan.
The synopsis is described as follows: "The manga focuses on Yuru, a boy who lives on a remote mountain village, passing his time hunting birds and being one with nature. But one day, asa, the youngest twin sister of Yuru, is called to serve in jail in the heart of the people, the duty of her also confines it there. Yuru reveals little by little the unnatural mystery that hides under the quiet village of Him ».
On the other hand, Arakawa began the publication of the manga in Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine of the Square Enix publisher in July 2001 and ended it in June 2010. The publisher collected the work in a total of 27 volumes. The manga series is one of the best selling throughout history, with more than 80 million copies sold around the world. The manga was adapted to the anime twice, the first in 2003 entitled Fullmetal Alchemist and the second in 2009 and entitled Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
