Through your Official Twitter account the author Yoshiaki Sukeno, creator of the Sousei Franchise No Onmyouji (Twin Star Exorcists), published a special illustration. At first glance it seems like a random illustration published by the artist as a practice, however, everything changes when the context is read, as it turns out that it is practically the portrait of another author.
Sukeno wrote: "I present Shou Aimoto, the author of Kemono Jihen. I realized this illustration through my memories. I have not seen her from the New Year's dinner two years ago, but I'm not mistaken that she wore a dress of this kind. For the rest, I do not exaggerate saying that it is practically she ». The author replied: "Hey! This is terribly accurate! ».
For its part, Sukeno began the publication of the manga in Jump Sq magazine of the Shueisha publisher in October 2013. The publisher published the twenty-third compilation volume in November 2020, followed by the twenty-fourth on March 4 in Japan. The work inspired an adaptation to the anime of fifty episodes produced by Pierrot studios, under the direction of Tomohisa Taguchi and scripts written by Naruhisa Arakawa, released in April 2016.
Synopsis of Sousei No Onmyouji
For centuries, terrifying creatures known as the "Keagare", who have come from the parallel world known as Magano, have caused havoc throughout Japan. The brave men and women who resist their attack are secret exorctists whose sole objective is to eradicate all creatures. At present, Rokuro enmade is a 14-year-old boy who is also a talented and powerful exorcist. However, a tragic event in the passage of him caused him to be a grudge against the exorcists and resign to his profession. In marked contrast with him, Benio Adashino is a beautiful and prodigious exorcist of his same age who carries the hopes and dreams of all people.
