The DMM Group conglomerate issued a press release informing that adapting to the anime of written sleeve and illustrated by Tsubasa Yamaguchi, Blue Period, has delayed its issuance in the Netflix Global Catalog for approximately one week due to production issues. The statement wrote:

The series is located in broadcast in Japan since last October 1 and does not yet officially confirm its amount of episodes (some alleged filtrations say they will be twelve, but they are not founded), while the Netflix platform emits the episodes a week earlier in Japan and a week later in the rest of the world (two weeks with this new modification to the schedule). Finally, Yamaguchi began the publication of the manga in Monthly Afternoon magazine of the Kodansha publisher in June 2017.

Synopsis of Blue Period

Yatora Yaguchi is a second-year high school student who is bored with his normal life. He studies well and plays with the friends of him but, actually, he does not enjoy any of these activities. Tied to the standards, he secretly envy those who dare to do things differently. This is until he discovers the joy of drawing. When he sees a painting made by a member of the art club, Yataro is fascinated by the colors used. Then, in an art exercise, he tries to transmit the language of him using painting instead of words. After that experience, Yataro looks so immersed in this activity that he decides that this is what he wants to do the rest of him. But there will be many obstacles in him, including his parents.
