The Uma Musume video game: Pretty Derby exceeds 9 million downloads

In the official Twitter of the game for Smartphones of Cygames, Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, it was reported that the delivery has exceeded 9 million accumulated downloads. The statement thanked all players for support and included a special illustration informing that users will receive benefits in commemoration.

The game was released on February 24 in Japan for mobile devices, while a PC version was released on March 10. Originally its launch was scheduled for winter-2018 (January-March), however, it was delayed indefinitely since then with the aim of improving the quality of the final product. A global launch has not been announced, but it is available in the qooapp catalog in this link.

On the other hand, this franchise also inspires adaptations to the manga and anime. The first season of thirteen episodes was produced by the PaWorks studios, under the direction of Kei Oikawa and scripts written by Akihiko Ishihara, premiered in April 2018. A second season animated by Studio Kai was issued during the winter season-2021 ( January-March) in Japan.
