The final chapter of the manga written and illustrated by Ushiki Yoshitaka, Yumekui Merry, was published in the first edition of Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine from Houbunsha publishing house. The chapter featured a color page as a way to close the work.
Ushiki began publishing the manga in Houbunsha publisher's Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine in 2008. The publisher published the twenty-third compilation volume on June 12, and will publish the twenty-fourth and final volume on December 11 in Japan. .
The play inspired a thirteen-episode anime adaptation produced by J.C. Staff, directed by Shigeyasu Yamauchi and scripts written by Ushiki Yoshitaka, released in January 2011.

Yumeji Fujiwara is a seemingly normal high school student. But ten years ago, Yumeji gained the ability to see the dream auras of other people around him.
