The popularity of Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) has increased exponentially every year, which has also caused its merchandise to spread to all corners of the world. Although it is evident that not all countries have the same laws regarding censorship. In 2018, a Malaysian fan who was not very interested in the series saw a panel of Shingeki no Kyojin on and decided to take a picture. He later forgot about the image, but recently his interest in the series increased again and he finally ended up sharing the photo.
Through Reddit, user u / flamingthunderbanana shared this panel of the manga, with the comment: "I want everyone to know that Malaysians wear tight pants in the Malaysian version due to local censorship law."
The user also explained that law enforcement, which is against nudity, was counterproductive as the redesign emphasizes the Titans' butts too much. A person asked how the Titan Annie censorship had been, and they answered that they had also placed a bra on her. That's right, and if you're wondering about her appearance, she also managed to share a photo showing her design.
It is worth mentioning that all these panels correspond to the official translation in Malaysia. According to sources, the translated version of Shingeki no Kyojin was published through a magazine called Kreko. Surprisingly, not many manga fans, even within Malaysia, knew about the existence of this version. On the other hand, those interested in acquiring this version of the manga, unfortunately cannot. The magazine discontinued its serialization in December 2019 and moved to digital publishing.

Behind these walls is Eren Jaeger, a boy who dreams of crossing them to see the outside world and who lives his day to day with his parents, his adoptive sister Mikasa Ackerman and his friend Armin Arlert. Humanity remembers once again its destiny when a gargantuan sixty meter titan appears before the first row of walls that protect humans from their most fearsome enemy. Thus, Eren, Mikasa and Armin lose their home and all hope as our protagonist takes an oath: his goal in life will be to destroy all the titans. In this way, a story of survival and war begins in which its characters must unravel the mystery behind the existence of these horrible beings.
