Undead Unluck Would Have A Second Season

A recent leak claimed that the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka, "Undead Unluck," will have a second season that is currently in production. It should be noted that the information is not yet officially confirmed, but if David Production continues to be in charge, then it would be joined by the production of the seventh arc of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure," which also comes from a leak.

Tozuka began publishing the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in January 2020. An anime adaptation produced by David Production Studios and directed by Yuki Yase premiered during the Fall-2023 season (October-December) and featured a total of twenty-four episodes.

Synopsis of Undead Unluck

For the past 10 years, Fuuko has been afflicted by a condition that brings extreme misfortune to anyone who touches her. This has had a drastic effect on her environment, and has even inadvertently led to the deaths of those around her, including her parents. While standing on a bridge over the train tracks, Fuuko is touched by a strange man, causing him to break the base and drop him in front of an oncoming train.

However, when Fuuko finds the man's corpse, she discovers that his body is regenerating and coming back to life. The man, whom Fuuko calls Andy, is immortal and, like her, also desires death. At first, Fuuko is reticent, but eventually decides to team up with Andy to give him the best death possible; But a mysterious organization lurks in the shadows, hoping to take advantage of the duo's strange abilities.
