Yamikin Ushijima-kun's author to start a new manga in October

On the official site for Shogakukan publisher's Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine, it was announced that author Shohei Manabe (Yamikin Ushijima-kun) will begin publishing a new manga titled Kujou no Taizai in this year's 46th issue of the magazine, scheduled for October 12.

Manabe is also the author of the Yamikin Ushijima-kun manga, which he published in Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine between May 2004 and March 2019, with a total of 46 compilation volumes published.

The work has inspired multiple live-action adaptations, including three series totaling 27 episodes and four films released in August 2012, May 2014, September 2016, and October 2016, respectively.

Synopsis of Yamikin Ushijima-kun

The manga represents human drama in the world of the black market. Ushijima runs Kaukau Finance, an organization that lends money at an illegal interest rate: “Togo” or 50% every 10 days. In this work, the reader will learn about the operation of the black market, and how people can become so dangerous when they are related to this type of business.
