In chapter 183 of the manga adaptation of the webcomic written by ONE, One Punch Man, by Yusuke Murata and published on January 25 in Japan, the “Hero Number 1” of the Hero Association has appeared, Blast. The news was not well taken by fans, since it differs from the original development.
Yusuke Murata stated in an interview conducted in 2018 that various modifications were being made in the transition from the history of the webcomic to that of the manga, such as the appearance of Orochi (オ ロ チ) or this appearance of Blast. Originally, the character only appears as part of one of Tatsumaki's childhood memories, so creative liberties have been taken in this case.
For its part, ONE publishes the webcomic since 2009. However, the work is best known for the manga adaptation written and illustrated by Yusuke Murata that has been published on the Tonari no Young Jump service of the Shueisha publishing house since June 2012 The publisher published the twenty-second compilation volume on September 4 in Japan.
The play inspired an anime adaptation released in October 2015 and produced by Madhouse Studios. However, the second season was released in April 2019 and changed the animation studio, this time being produced by J.C. STAFF studios. A live-action film produced in Hollywood is confirmed.
One Punch Man Synopsis
Seemingly ordinary and unimpressive Saitama has a rather unique hobby: being a hero. To pursue his childhood dream, he trained relentlessly for three years and lost all of his hair in the process. Now, Saitama is incredibly powerful, so much so that no enemy can defeat him in battle. He is so powerful that he only needs to strike one blow to defeat his enemies, because of this he is no longer able to enjoy the thrill of battle and has become quite boring. All this changes with the arrival of Genos, a 19-year-old cyborg. years, who wishes to be Saitama's disciple after seeing what he is capable of. Genos proposes that the two join the Hero Association to become certified heroes who will be recognized for their positive contributions to society, and Saitama, surprised that no one knows who he is, quickly agrees. And so begins the story of One Punch Man, an action comedy that follows an eccentric individual who yearns to fight strong enemies who can hopefully give him the excitement that he once felt and only maybe, he will become popular in the process.
