In a popular Japanese comments forum, different catches were shared by showing the differences between the designs of the game characters for Smartphones Azur Lane. The differences are shown between the "continental version (大陸版)", which refers to mainland China, and the "Japanese version (日本 版)". In all the images below, the "Continental Version" appears on the left, while the "Japanese version" appears on the right.
It is not mentioned that it was previously reported that the Chinese version of Azur Lane had eliminated a total of eighteen characters after its update last April 8. The situation was not explained by the development team, however, users in Reddit communities assume that it was due to the amount of skin exposed by the characters.
About Azur Lane.
The original game was developed by Shanghai Manjuu and Xiamen Yongshi, and released for iOS and Android devices in 2017. Subsequently, Azur Lane: CrossWave was released for PC through Steam in February 2020, and a launch for the Nintendo Switch console in Japan was performed on September 17.
The original delivery has inspired numerous adaptations to manga and light novels, as well as an adaptation to the anime of twelve episodes, produced by Bibury Animation Studios, under the direction of Tensho and scripts written by Jin Danney, released in October 2019. Recently The animated adaptation of the SPIN-OFF AZUR LANE sleeve was issued: BISOKU ZENSHIN!, by the Yostar Pictures studies.
