In the official Twitter account for the Streaming Disney Plus platform, it was announced that the video game for Disney Twisted-Wonderland smartphones will have an anime adaptation. The press release did not reveal more details about production.
The game was launched in Japan in March 2020. The first television ad focusing on the "Bedroom Heartslabyul", inspired by the world of Alice in Wonderland, and the second announcement presented the "Bedroom Savanaclaw", inspired by The Lion King . The creator of the Black Butler manga, Yana Toboso, was in charge of the main game, stage and design concept of the characters. The Troy studies were responsible for encouraging the opening sequence of the game, and Night Ravels played the opening issue entitled "Piece of My World".
Finally, Sumire Kowono and Wakana Hazuki launched a manga based on the game entitled Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Comic: Episode of Heartslabyul in the magazine Monthly G Fantasy by Square Enix on March 18.

The game focuses on characters inspired by the villains of Disney movies, and is described as a "Academy Adventure Set of Villanos" that has rhythm game elements and battles. The history of the game begins when the protagonist is summoned to another world by a magical mirror. There, the protagonist reaches the prestigious magic training school "Night Ravens College". Without any place to go, the protagonist receives the protection of the masked director of the school, and she gets to know the little cooperative but great school students while she tries to find a way to go home.
