On the official site for the manga series written and illustrated by Iro Aida, Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun, a collaboration with the Tokyo-based amusement park Yomiuri Land was announced. Additionally, a special illustration was published.
The collaboration will take place between September 12 and 27 of this year, and various attractions will be adorned with company illustrations, limited edition products and food will be sold, and a special "mystery solving" event inspired by this franchise.
Aida began publishing the manga in Square Enix publisher's Monthly G Fantasy magazine in June 2014. The publisher published the 13th compiled volume on May 27. The play inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Lerche Studios, directed by Masaomi Andou and scripts written by Yasuhiro Nakanishi, released in January 2020. To date there have been no indications of a second season.
