The first Blu-ray compiled volume of the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima, Kanojo, Okarishimasu, was reported to have accumulated 925 copies sold within a week of its release.
The volume was released on October 28 in Japan and includes episodes 1 to 3 of this series. The limited edition Blu-ray version was released at a price of 11,550 yen (approximately $ 111), while the regular edition is priced at 9,500 yen (approximately $ 91). The report lists 553 sold copies of one edition and 372 of the other, however, it has not yet been updated specifying which editions it refers to.
On the other hand, the first season premiered in Japan on July 10 and the production of a second season is confirmed. Miyajima began publishing the manga in Kodansha publisher's Weekly Shonen Magazine in July 2017. The publisher published its 15th compiled volume on June 17.
- Kazuomi Koga (Ameiro Cocoa Rainy color e Youkoso!) Was in charge of the direction of the anime at TMS Entertainment studios.
