The Animist Canal published a video in Stop-Motion earlier this month starring the characters of the Multimedia Franchise of Kimetsu not Yaiba. The video, which used the figures of the Nendoroid line launched by Good Smile Company, accumulated one million Twitter reproductions in just ten days, and more than 600,000 on YouTube in the same period.
Subsequently, the video author also shared a second publication showing the entire production process for the short sequence of just 57 seconds of duration.
On the other hand, Koyoharu Gotouge began the publication of the original manga in the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump of the publisher Shueisha in February 2016, and ended it in May 2020 with a total of twenty-three compilation volumes. The work also inspired multiple derived series and a novelization.
The work inspired an adaptation to the anime of 26 episodes produced by the Ufotable Studies, under the direction of Haruo Sotozaki and premiered in April 2019.
