About Love Live! Sunshine !!
It is a multimedia project produced by Kadokawa's Dengeki G’s Magazine, Lantis Music Label and Sunrise Animation Studio. The project is a spin-off and sequel to the original Love Live! and focuses on a new musical group of students made up of the following voice actresses:
- Anju Inami as Chika Takami.
- Shuka Saitou as You Watanabe.
- Rikako Aida as Riko Sakurauchi.
- Nanaka Suwa as Kanan Matsuura.
- Aina Suzuki as Mari Ohara.
- Arisa Komiya as Dia Kurosawa.
- Kanako Takatsuki as Hanamaru Kunikida.
- Ai Furihata as Ruby Kurosawa.
- Aika Kobayashi as Yoshiko Tsushima.
The project inspired a thirteen episode anime produced by Sunrise Studios under the direction of Kazuo Sakai and scripts written by Jukki Hanada, released in July 2016. A second season, also with thirteen episodes, premiered in October 2017 with the same production team.
