As previously reported, record company Nippon Columbia will release voice actress and singer Miku Itou's third solo musical album, titled “Rhythmic Flavor,” on December 23 in Japan. Two months before its release, the music video for the title track titled “Good Song” was posted on the record company's official YouTube channel.
Takuro Okubo, who has worked on all of Itou's music videos since their second single titled “Shocking Blue” released in May 2017, directed this new video, being the first lyric-video type in his repertoire.
The lyrics of the song were written by Miku Itou herself. Along with three behind-the-scenes photos, she wrote on Twitter: “For the first time in a long time, I wrote the lyrics to one of my songs. I feel like I am growing at my own pace and I wrote this in the hope that it would be a “good song” for those who listen to it, as well as myself. We shot the video when my hair was still long! Please look at it. "
