Pokémon prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary

After the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade held today, the official Twitter account of The Pokémon Company International showed a minimal advance for its plans for 2021, which will mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of the franchise.

The promotional banner does not present many differences in the design of the head of the Pokémon Pikachu compared to the one used in the twentieth anniversary, however, it has been moved to the background, which could be some hint of the expected project. The 20th anniversary of the franchise saw the launch of the Pokémon Sun & Moon video game for the Nintendo 3DS system, along with the relaunch of the original games on the virtual console. Will this 25th anniversary have any surprises of the same kind then? We will have to wait!

The franchise began on February 27, 1996 with the launch of the Pokémon Red & Blue video game in Japan (titled Pocket Monsters: Red and Green). From then on, a multimedia franchise would start that would cram all existing and existing media, such as anime, merchandise, animated films, live-action films, and many more.
