The light novels Kumo desu ga, Nani ka? exceed 3 million copies in circulation
In the headband (obi) of the fourteenth volume of the light novels written by Okina Baba and illustrated by Tsukasa Kiryuu, Kumo desu ga, Nani ka? (So I'm a Spider, So What?), The literary franchise was confirmed to have surpassed three million copies in circulation.
Okina Baba began publishing the light novels through Fujimi Shobo publishing house, with illustrations by Tsukasa Kiryu, in December 2015. The publishing house published its thirteenth volume on July 10, and will publish the fourteenth on January 9 in Japan. The novels are inspiring a manga adaptation by Asahiro Kakashi, in publication since December 2015.
Additionally, the novels are inspiring a 24-episode anime adaptation produced by Millepensee Studios, under the direction of Shin Itagaki and scripts written by Okina Baba and Yuuichirou Momose, scheduled to premiere on January 8 in Japan. A recent statement revealed the opening song titled “Keep weaving your spider way” and performed by Riko Azuna.
Synopsis of Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?
The world where the Hero and the Demon King continue to oppose each other. The great magic of the Hero and the Demon King cross worlds and explode in the classroom of a certain high school.
