On the official site for the film adaptation of the written manga and illustrated by Yuuki Kikuchi, 100-Nichi Go Ni Shinu Wani (This Croc Will Die In 100 Days), the first promotional video of the project was published.
The film has its premiere scheduled for the next May 28 in the cinemas of Japan, while Kikuchi published the manga through his official Twitter account between December 2019 and March 2020, publishing a new chapter for a period of one hundred consecutive days. The publisher Shagakukan launched a single compilation volume in April 2020.
- Shinichirou Ueda (One Room Second Season) and Miyuki Fukuda are responsible for the address of the feature film in the TIA studies.
- Seiji Kameda (Dragon Ball Super, Hikaru No Go, Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven is responsible for the composition of the soundtrack.
- The Ikimonogakari band is responsible for interpreting the main musical theme of the project, entitled "Tsuzuku".
Synopsis of 100-Nichi Go Ni Shinu Wani
The story focuses on the daily life of a crocodile, which could be considered normal for the reader if not the one did not know in advance that said crocodile will die in a hundred days, something that the character does not know. Without knowing this, the crocodile spends the days with the friends of him, making plans for the future or just watching television.
